Like all power tools, there is danger asso- ciated with the Model G8693 Mini Shaper. Use the tool with respect and caution to lessen the possibility of mechanical dam- age or operator injury. If normal safety pre- cautions are overlooked or ignored, seri- ous personal injury may occur.

Operation of this equipment has the poten- tial to propel debris into the air which can cause eye injury. Always wear safety glass- es or goggles when operating equipment. Everyday glasses or reading glasses only have impact resistant lenses, they are not safety glasses. Be certain the safety glass- es you wear meet the appropriate stan- dards of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

No list of safety guidelines can be com- plete. Every shop environment is different. Always consider safety first, as it applies to your individual working conditions. Use this and other machinery with caution and respect. Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury, damage to equip- ment or poor work results.
