Before first use
Fitting the helical spring
Insert the narrower end of the helical spring 3 into the opening of the multifunctional holder 7 . Ensure that the outwardly bent end of the helix points upwards and insert it into the recess provid- ed for it in the multifunctional holder 7 (see arrow in Fig. B).

Inserting / replacing soldering tips
CAUTION! DANGER OF BURNS! Allow the soldering pencil to heat up without a soldering tip.
Removal of a soldering tip 2 or a copper attachment 9

All soldering tips and attachments have a screw thread and can, therefore, be easily and quickly replaced on the soldering pencil 1 . Turn the soldering tip or attachment
