Anextensioncord should not be used unless

absolutely necessary. Use of improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and electric shock. If extensioncord must be used, make sure:

a.That pins on plug of extension cord are the same number, size and shape as those of plug on charger.

b.That extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition;and

c.That wire size is large enough for AC ampere ratingof charger as specified below:

Cord Length (Feet) 25 ft. 50 ft. 100 ft. 150 ft.

Cord Size (AWG) 16 16 16 14 Note: AWG = American Wire Gage

DO NOT OPERATE CHARGER WITH A DAMAGED CORD OR PLUG. If damaged,have replaced immediatelyby a qualifiedserviceman.

Do not operate charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise

damaged in any way; take it to a qualified serviceman.

MDo not disassemble charger; take it to a qualified serviceman when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.

TO reduce riskof eleotnc shock, unplugcharger from outlet before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off controlswill not reduce this risk.

MDo not use charger outdoors.

MDisconnect charger from power supply when not in use.

MSAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. Refer to them

frequently and use them to instructothers who may use this tool. If you loan someone thistool, loan them these instructionsalso.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RECHARGING BATTERIES

When usingyour screwdrivercontinuously,the batteries in your screwdriver will become hot. You should let your screwdrivercool down for approximately30 minutes before attempting to recharge.

Note: This situationonly occurswhen continuous use of your screwddver causes the batteries to become hot. It does not occur under normal circumstances. Refer to "CHARGING YOUR SCREWDRIVER" for normal rechargingof batteries. If the charger does not charge your screwddver under normal circumstances,return both the screwdriver and charger to your nearest Sears repair center for electr_,alcheck.
