ASSEMBLY

Failure to remove the battery pack from the saw before removing the blade could result in accidental starting and serious personal injury.

ATTACHING / REMOVING BLADE

BLADE CLAMP

• Remove the battery pack.

TO ATTACH BLADE:

Rotate the clamp knob clockwise and hold to retract the clamping jaws inside the clamp.

Insert the shank of the blade into the clamp until the hole in the shank engages the dent ball in the clamp.

Release the clamp knob to tighten and secure the blade in place.

Replace the battery pack.

TO REMOVE BLADE:

Rotate the clamp knob clockwise and hold to retract the clamping jaws inside the clamp.

Pull the blade off the clamp.

Replace the battery pack.

OPERATING THE RECIPROCATING SAW

Be aware that this tool is always in an operating condition because it does not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Always turn the switch “OFF” and remove the battery pack before changing blades.

VARIABLE SPEED TRIGGER SWITCH

Never tape the trigger switch down to provide continuous

high speed. The tool may fail under such conditions causing fire or personal injury.

The lock-off button helps prevent accidental starting.

This button can be pressed from either side.

THIS TOOL IS CONTROLLED BY A TRIGGER SWITCH:

The speed of the Cordless Reciprocating Saw depends on the amount of pressure applied on the trigger. The further the trigger is pressed, the faster the tool will go.

Press the lock-off button, then pull the “ON/OFF” trigger to turn the Cordless Reciprocating Saw “ON”. To turn the Cordless Reciprocating Saw “OFF”, release the trigger switch.
