Specific Safety Rules
1.Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring. Contact with a "live" wire will also make exposed metal parts of the tool "live" and shock the operator.
2.Be aware that this tool is always in an operating condition because it does not have t o be plugged into an electrical outlet.
3.Avoid cutting nails. Inspect for and remove all nails from the workpiece be- fore operation.
4.Do not cut hollow pipe.
5.Do not cut oversize workpiece.
6.Check for the proper clearance beneath the workpiece before cutting so that the blade will not strike the floor, workbench, etc.
7.Hold the tool firmly.
8.Check the blade is not contacting the workpiece before the switch is turned on.
9.Keep hands away from moving parts.
IO.When cutting through walls, floors or wherever "live" electrical wires may be encountered, DO NOT TOUCH ANY METAL PARTS OF THE TOOL! Hold the tool only by the plastic handle t o prevent electric shock if you cut through a "live" wire.
