1 Rinse dirt from the WASHABLE ACTIVE CARBON FILTER under lukewarm water.

Remove dust on the washable active carbon filter before washing.

CAUTION

When washing the filter for the first time, the rinse water may be brown. This does not affect deodorisation performance.

Avoid bending or folding the filter when washing.

2 Drip dry filter to remove excess water.

3 Dry filter completely in a well ventilated area. If possible, dry outdoors.

Dry filter in a sideways position to avoid warping of the filter.

The filter takes about 6 hours to dry out.

CAUTION

• Avoid drying filter outdoors during inclement weather (e.g. rain or cold temperatures).

Do not allow filter to freeze.

If filter is dried indoors, take precautions, such as placing towels, etc under the filter to prevent water damage to the floor.

4 Replace the filter in unit. (See E-6).

Dry filter completely before replacing to prevent odours.

Do not operate unit without all filters properly installed.
