2.At the # prompt, enter newfs options /dev/rdsk/slice_name, and press Return to create a UFS file system on the partition.
Solaris prompts you to confirm the request:
newfs: construct a new file system /dev/rdsk/slice_name: (y/n)?
3.Enter y and press Return.
4.Repeat steps 1 through 3 to create UFS file systems on additional partitions.
Note To make a VERITAS File System (VxFS), enter the following command:
# mkfs -F vxfs /dev/rdsk/device partition_size
