sandiskinfo – show SAN disk information

Synopsis

/opt/polyserve/bin/sandiskinfo [-i-u-v-f][-alr][-U][--subdevices][--dynvolumes][--dynvol_properties [volname]]

Description

The sandiskinfo command can display information for both imported and unimported SAN disks and also for dynamic volumes. Under normal operations, the sandiskinfo output should be the same on all servers in the matrix.

Disk Information

With no options, sandiskinfo displays the UID, vendor, model, and capacity of each imported disk and specifies the FC switch used to access the disk.

Following are the commonly used options for imported and unimported disks:

sandiskinfo [-i-u-v-f][-alr][-U][-q]

The options are:

-iDisplay information for imported disks (the default).

-uDisplay information for unimported disks.

-vDisplay available volumes.

-fDisplay PSFS filesystem volumes.

-aDisplay all information; for -v, display all known volumes.

-lAdditionally display host-local device name.

-rAdditionally display local device route information.
