Installing HP VSC on ESXI Using OVA

Note: It is presumed that vCenter and ESXi are correctly installed.

1.Enable SSH on the ESX hypervisor. You can do this over the ESX screen or from vCenter.

2.Disable firewall on the ESXi. Run the following CLI on the ESXi host that will run the HP VSC:

esxcli network firewall set --enabled false

3. Select the host:

4. Select Edit > Deploy OVF template:

5.In the Deploy OVF Template window that appears, click Browse and select the source location of the OVF file, and then click Next.
