Component		Description

1	Security cable slot	Attaches an optional security cable to the
		notebook.
		✎ Security solutions are designed to act
		as deterrents. These deterrents may not
		prevent a product from being
		mishandled or stolen.

2	USB ports (2)*	Connect an optional USB device.

3	Optical drive†	Supports an optical disc.

4	Optical drive release	Opens the media tray of the optical drive when
	button	power is available.

*The notebook has 4 USB ports. The other USB ports are on the right side and the rear of the notebook.

†The type of optical drive—for example, a DVD-ROM drive, a DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive, or a DVD±RW and CD-RW Combo Drive—varies by notebook model.
