Removal and Replacement Procedures

2.Position the computer with the rear panel toward you.

3.Loosen the two PM2.0×6.0 captive screws 1 that secure the memory module compartment cover to the computer.

4.Lift the rear edge of the memory module compartment cover 2 and swing it toward you.

5.Remove the memory module compartment cover.

✎The memory module compartment cover is included in the Miscellaneous Plastics Kits, spare part numbers 394286-001 (for use on HP Pavilion ze2000 models) and 394287-001 (for use on Compaq Presario M2000 models).
