Removing the Battery Charger Board

 

To remove the

 

battery charger

 

board, complete

 

the following

 

steps:

 

1. Prepare the

 

computer for

 

disassembly.

Electrostatic

 

 

 

Discharge

 

 

 

 

2. Remove the

palmrest cover

with touch pad.

 

 

Cables and

 

 

 

Connectors

3. Remove the

 

 

Preparing the

heatspreader.

Disassembly

4. Remove the

 

keyboard.

 

Battery Pack

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Palmrest

6. Remove the

Cover with

hard drive.

Heatspreader

7. Remove one

 

screw from the

Keyboard

 

battery charger

 

Processor

board, unplug

 

 

Hard Drives

the board from

 

the connector

CD Drive

 

on the system

 

Battery

board, and lift

Charger Board

out of the

 

 

 

 

 

Modem

chassis.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Display Panel

To replace the

Upper CPU

board, reverse
