Fiber Channel on the HP ProLiant BL30p server blade
The following items are needed to connect the HP ProLiant BL30p server blade to a SAN via Fibre Channel:

Based on the QLogic ISP2312 chipset
Kit includes two small form factor pluggable transceivers with LC connectors for installation into the interconnect option kit (see 2A and 2B below)

8 Fibre Channel small form factor pluggable (SPF) transceiver slots on the back of each Interconnect Switch (16 Fibre Channel SPF transceiver cages per server blade enclosure) SPF transceivers included with the BL30p
