To clean the ADF rollers

You can clean the rollers in the ADF if you are experiencing misfeeds or if your documents are skewed as they go through the ADF.

Open the ADF.

 

 

 

CAUTION

 

Clean the rollers only if you are experiencing misfeeds or

 

 

skewing problems, and there is noticeable dust on the

 

 

rollers. Cleaning the rollers frequently could introduce dust

 

 

into the product.

 

 

 

2Locate the rollers near the glass strips.

3Wipe the rollers gently with a clean, water-dampened, lint-free cloth.

CAUTION

Do not pour water directly onto the rollers. Doing so may

 

damage the product.

 

 

4Close the ADF.
