3.4.4 Storage Configuration

Onboard SATA Controller

This item is for SATA2 ports. Use this item to enable or disable the “Onboard SATA Controller” feature.

SATA Operation Mode

This item is for SATA2 ports. Use this item to adjust Onboard SATA Opera- tion Mode. The default value of this option is [AHCI]. Configuration options: [AHCI], [IDE] and [RAID].

If you set this item to RAID mode, it is suggested to install SATA ODD driver on SATAII_5 (PORT 4) and SATAII_6 (PORT 5) ports.

SATA IDE Combined Mode

This item is for SATAII_5 (PORT 4) and SATAII_6 (PORT 5) ports. Use this item to enable or disable SATA IDE combined mode. The default value is [Enabled].

If you want to build RAID on SATAII_5 (PORT 4) and SATAII_6 (PORT 5 ports, please disable this item.

Onboard SATA3 Operation Mode

This item is for SATA3 ports. Use this item to adjust Onboard SATA3 Op- eration Mode. The default value of this option is [AHCI]. Configuration op- tions: [IDE], [AHCI] and [Disabled].
