Replacing Dust Bag
If the full dust bag indicator goes orange or suction power is reduced when the appliance is in use, the bag may need changing. Never use the appliance if the bag is full or with no bag at all.
•Open the lid of the appliance by pressing the opening button, which is located in the hole immediately under the lid. Activate button by pressing upwards towards lid.
•Open the lid until it locks into place.
•Remove dust bag carefully from the dust bag holder (g).
•Place bag carefully in refuse bin. Make sure that there are no holes in it. Do not fold or press the bag.
•Insert a new dust bag into the dust bag holder and check bag is secure and facing the right direction.
•Close the cover and ensure it clicks into place.
STORAGE
•Before putting the appliance away, rewind the cord. Switch off at the socket, unplug, and press the automatic cord rewind button (15) until the cord is fully rewound.
•Hold the plug firmly while reeling the cord in to avoid it hitting the appliance or other nearby objects.
•Store in a cool dry place. Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance.
•Park floor nozzle in holder on the back of the appliance when storing horizontally, or underneath when storing vertically.
CLEANING
•Clean the appliance by wiping it with a cloth tightly wrung out in hot water. A little detergent can be added if the appliance is very dirty.
•Do not use scouring pads or any strong solvents or abrasives as they may damage the external surfaces of the appliance.
•Make sure both filters are kept clean (refer to Replacing filters and dust bag above).
o Shake and beat the filter pads carefully to remove dust and dirt. o They can be washed carefully in warm water.
o Check they are completely dry before replacing in the appliance. NEVER replace a filter pad wet.
•Replace filter pads with the same type when worn or cannot be cleaned properly.

•if the above instructions are not followed
•if the appliance has been interfered with
•if the appliance has been mishandled, subjected to rough treatment, or has suffered any other form of damage
•If faults have arisen because of faults in your electricity supply.
