You can focus on a particular part of your scene. Select where you want to focus.

1 In Shooting mode, press [m].

2 Select Functions “ Focus Area “ Selection AF.

When you adjust the focus distance manually and the subject is out of focus, the photo may become blurry.

If you use this function, you cannot set the face detection and focus area options.

Rotate or press the navigation button to move the frame to the area you want to focus and press [o].

Press [Shutter] to take the photo.

If you use this function, the face detection options are not available.
