4 Press the REC button
• Recording starts
• If the erasure prevention tab is missing, the tape stops, the alarm sounds five times and the tape is ejected.
5 Press the REC CHECK button
•You can check on the record quality while recording. The VCR will playback the video recorded a few seconds prior to pressing the REC CHECK button.
