15 Appliance Setup

A. Remove Shipping Materials

Remove shipping materials from inside or underneath the firebox.

Front refractory (three pieces) package shipped in front of glass.

Lower decorative front face, left and right refractory shields shipped on top of front refractory box.

Remove ember material package shipped inside the column.

B. Remove Fixed Glass Assembly

See Section 15.J.

C. Remove Materials Shipped Inside Firebox

Three top logs are shipped inside the firebox.

D. Clean the Appliance

Clean/vacuum any sawdust that may have accumulated inside the firebox or underneath in the control cavity.

F. Heat-Zone®Gas

Install the Heat-Zone®Gas Kit before enclosing the appli- ance.

Remove one of two square cover plates for each kit from the top of the appliance. Set the screws aside, discard the cover plate.

Cover Plates

Replace the cover plate with the heat zone collar from the kit. Use the three screws removed from the cover plate.

Return to Heat-Zone®Gas instructions.

E. Accessories

Install approved accessories per instructions included with accessories. Contact your dealer for a list of ap- proved accessories.

G. Refractory

All refractory internal to the firebox comes pre-installed. See Section 15.L. for installation of bottom front and side refractories.
