The water hardness
For your dishwasher to provide impeccable washing and drying results with no marks, you must set it correctly using the water softening system, which uses regenerating salt.
Lime: rainwater filtering through the ground picks up mineral salts; some minerals are found in solid form commonly termed lime. This reduces the washing detergent’s performance, furs up the dishwasher and leaves white marks on the crockery.
The more lime there is in the water, the more the water is called “hard”.
