INSTALLING DAMPER CLAMP ACCESSORY FOR VENTED OPERATION

Note: When used as a vented heater, appliance must be installed only in a solid- fuel burning fireplace with a working flue and constructed of non combustible material.

If your heater is a manually controlled model, you may use this heater as a vented product. There are three reasons for operating your heater in the vented mode.

1.The fireplace does not meet the clearance to combustibles requirements for vent-free operation.

2.State or local codes do not permit vent-free operation.

3.You prefer vented operation.

If reasons number 1 or 2 above apply to you, you must permanently open chimney flue damper. You must install the damper clamp accessory (to order, see Accessories, page 34). This will insure vented operation (see Figure 10). The damper clamp will keep damper open. Installation instructions are included with clamp accessory.

See chart below for minimum permanent flue opening you must provide. Attach damper clamp so the minimum permanent flue opening will be maintained at all times.

The heater utilizes advanced infrared heating technology, which ensures that radiant heat is emitted throughout the room. This feature guarantees peace of mind for users, ensuring that safety is prioritized without sacrificing comfort.

Another significant characteristic of this heater is its realistic log design, which mimics the look of traditional wood-burning fireplaces. The ceramic fiber logs are intricately detailed, providing an authentic and charming ambiance that enhances any room's aesthetic. This realistic flame effect not only adds to the visual appeal but also creates a cozy atmosphere perfect for gatherings with family and friends.

The heater is designed to operate efficiently with minimal maintenance. The adjustable thermostat allows for precise temperature control, ensuring that users can set their desired warmth level and maintain it effortlessly. Moreover, the unit is compatible with natural gas, making it an environmentally friendly option that reduces the carbon footprint compared to traditional heating methods.
