INSTALLATION

11)Mount the cast faceplate panels onto the insert body, sliding the side fi ller brackets into the space between the glass and the fi rebox. Secure using the 4 remaining black screws, 2 per side.

U31 ONLY:

Install the glass trim by inserting the side hooks on the glass trim into the 4 slots between the faceplate and the glass. Push the glass trim down fi rmly with both hands to lock into place.

12)To put on the Hampton® logo, peel the sticker from the back of the logo and place it centered on the bottom left hand corner of the faceplate.

GRILL INSTALLATION

Before the grills are installed, a grill stop bracket needs to be put in place.

1)The U32 grill stop bracket is installed in the bottom left corner just under the fi rebox as shown below.

2)Place top grill into brackets located inside top of fi rebox as shown.

Note: The top grill should be placed with the curved cut-out facing up.

3)The bottom grill, shown in the diagram below, has 2 hinges that are attached to the lip on the bottom of the unit. Secure using 2 screws per hinge.
