How To Use Your Venta-Sonic Humidifier

IMPORTANT!

Place unit on a level, elevated (at least one foot high), flat surface away from direct sunlight. Keep cord away from heated surfaces and areas where it could be walked on or tripped over.

1 Fill Water Tank.

Turn off humidifier and unplug the power cord from A/C outlet. Remove tank from base. Turn upside down and unscrew filling cap. Fill tank with clean, cool, distilled, filtered, or tap water. Do not attempt to fill unit through Vapor Nozzle. Water temper- ature should NEVER be too hot or too cold. Extreme temperatures can damage the unit. Tighten filling cap firmly. Return tank to base and let it sit for a few minutes. For first time use or when replacing the demineralization cartridge filter, please soak the filter in warm water for several minutes.

2 Digital Display.

The Venta-Sonic digital display has been designed for functionality and simplicity. Operation of the unit can be easily set or changed by the press of a button. There are only four (4) buttons and all changes are immediately displayed on the digital display panel. It’s so simple.

3 Turn Unit On (ON/OFF).

Plug power cord into a 110-120V AC outlet only. Press power button (ON/OFF). Digital display will illuminate. Initially, all three bars of the VAPOR intensity will be lit.

4 Cool or Warm Mist Operation (WARM MIST).

The digital display will indicate your selection of “WARM” or “COOL” mist operation by either displaying the word “WARM” or “COOL” on the digital display panel. You may change from cool to warm and vice versa by pressing the Selector Button “WARM MIST.” Switching from cool to warm mist is not instantly. It may take several minutes before “warm” mist exits the vapor nozzle.

Aim nozzle away from furniture and walls. Mist may take a few minutes to be visible.
