Maintenance

Remove dust as necessary from the holes in the top and bottom. Clean the display with soft, damp cloth and mild soap.

To maintain maximum sensitivity of optional built-in motion sensors, occasionally wipe dust or dirt off the lens—but do not use any fluid on the sensor.

Firmware Upgrade

The existing version of firmware can be viewed from the About the FlexStat screen. (See About the Flex- Stat on page 4).

Firmware in the FlexStat can be upgraded using a PC and a KMD-5699 firmware flash upgrade kit available from KMC Controls. (For full upgrade instructions, see the KMD-5699 Installation Guide, P/N 913-019-04.)

Programming (Custom)

The FlexStat has a library of built-in applications and options that are configured through the FlexStat’s display. Beyond these standard configurations, cus- tom changes can be added to a FlexStat using KMC’s BACstage (ver. 2.4.0.26 or later) or TotalControl (ver.

2.0.5or later). See the BAC-10000 Series Application Guide (P/N 913-019-03) for more information.

NOTE: Customized programs are the responsibility of the user. KMC Controls does not provide support for such programs.
