MIRE POR LA LUZ ROJA

El purificador de aire con el verdadero filtro HEPA contiene el exclusivo sen- sor FilterWatch que indica con precisión cual es el flujo de aire que pasa por la unidad. Cuando el filtro se obstruye, el flujo de aire se reduce y el sensor FilterWatch le alerta con una luz roja brillante.

PROBAR EL FILTRO PERIÓDICAMENTE

El sensor FilterWatch está calibrado para la operación de la unidad en “High” (Alta). Si se hace funcionar comúnmente en una velocidad más baja, probar el filtro periódicamente después de hacer funcionar la unidad en “High” (Alta) por lo menos media hora. Si la luz roja se enciende, es hora de reemplazar el prefiltro y de inspeccionar la condición del filtro HEPA.

¿CUÁL FILTRO DEBE CAMBIARSE?

Su unidad contiene un prefiltro y un filtro HEPA. Para determinar cual debe reemplazarse, hacer la siguiente prueba:

1.Instalar un prefiltro nuevo dejando el filtro HEPA existente.

2.Graduar la unidad a “High” (Alta) y hacerla funcionar ininterrumpida- mente por lo menos media hora.

3.Si el indicador del sensor FilterWatch permanece apagado, no se nece- sita cambiar el filtro HEPA.

4.Si el indicador del sensor FilterWatch se enciende, se necesita cambiar el filtro HEPA.

5.El filtro HEPA se deteriorará si se manipula excesivamente.

REEMPLAZAR LOS FILTROS OBSTRUIDOS INMEDI- ATAMENTE

Un filtro limpio asegura el máximo de calidad del aire y mantiene la unidad funcionando suavemente y sin problemas. Para prolongar la vida del pre- filtro, se le pueden quitar las acumulaciones fuertes de polvo cuidadosamente con una aspiradora. Volver a probar el sistema porque podría ser que a pesar de esa limpieza, aun se necesite cambiar el filtro HEPA.
