Controlling AV Components that are Out of Range

You can use the following multi-room kits to control the DPC-7.7 when it’s out of range of the remote controller:

Multiroom kits such as those made by Niles and Xan- tech.

Controlling the DPC-7.7 When It’s Out of Range

If the DPC-7.7 is located in another room, installed in a cabinet, or out of range of its remote controller, you can use a commercially available IR receiver to pickup the remote controller signals and feed them to the DPC-7.7, as shown below.

Controlling Other Out-of-range AV Components

If another AV component is out of range of its remote controller, you can use a commercially available IR emitter to retransmit the remote controller signals received at the DPC-7.7’s IR IN, as shown below.
