Locating Specific Points in Time

With the Time Search function you can locate specific points in time.

Use the Left/Right []/[ ] buttons to toggle between Title and Chapter or Folder and Track.

To enter, for example, 1 hour, 25 min- utes, 30 seconds, press the [1], [2], [5], [3], and [0] buttons.

Notes:

You can also select chapters by using the number but- tons, without opening the Search window.

If the current DVD-Video disc contains only one title, you won’t be able to select other titles. Similarly, if it contains no chapters, you won’t be able to select chap- ters.

DVD-Video discs usually have onscreen menus for selecting titles and chapters (see page 28).

With some discs you may not be able to select titles and chapters as described here.

Notes:

The Time Search function works only within the cur- rently playing title (DVD-Video) or track (audio CD). For example, if the current title is one hour long and you enter the time 1 hour, 30 minutes, nothing will happen.

In some cases, playback may start from a slightly dif- ferent point to the one you specified.

Time Search may not work with some discs.

You can’t use the [Search] button during random play- back, memory playback, or party mode playback.
