HOW IT OPERATES

The TRIDENT COMPACT is a walk-behind scrubber. The main scrubbinB components include a solution/ recovery tank, sing e disc-type brush or pad, a rear squeegee and a vacuum motor.

Detergent solution and water flow from the solution tank to the scrub brush. The rotating brush scrubsthe floor. As the machine moves forward, the rear squee- gee collects the dirty solution and channels it into the vacuum of the squeegee pickup hose. The pickup hose depositsthe dirty solution into the recoverytank.

PREPARING FOR OPERATION

(PERFORM DAILY MAINTENANCE AS SHOWN ON PAGE8.)

Fill Solution Tank

1.)

Remove cover and fill. (see item 19, page 14)

2.)

Use a clean bucket or hose to fill the tank

with water.

Do o tusewatertemperaturesinexcessof 140"F(60" C). Water which is too hot may distort the polyethyl- ene tanks.

3.) Add a cleaning concentrate for use in automatic floor scrubbers. Closelyfollow the manufacturer'sinstruc- tions found on container. Read ingredients listed on the container to ensure compatible chemicals are used.

Use only the suitable chemicals listed below. Using incompatible chemicals may damage the machine. Dama 8sof this type are notcov- erad under the WlrSbSOR Three Year Protec- tion Plan. Carefully read ingredients on manufacturer's label before using any product in this machine.

4.) Plug the power cords together and twist into locked position. Attach the power cord to the yellow strain relief asshown. Plugpowercord into a properly groundedwall outlet.

5.) Turn vacuum motor switch on and off to make sure there is electrical power at machine.

OPERATING THE MACHINE

(PERFORM DAILY MAINTENANCE AS SHOWN ON PAGE 8.)

1.The areato be scrubbed should be swept, dry mopped and clear of debris (paper plates, cups, etc.).

2.Adjust the operator control handleto a comfortable position. (see item 3,page 7)

3.Release solution. (Pull solution control lever rearward.) (see item 6, page 7) NOTE The amountof solutioncan be regulatedduring operation depending on the Zype of floor and the traverse speedof the machine. Pullingthe lever farther rearwardreleasesmore solution.

4.Switch on brush drive motor. (see item 1, Page 7 )

5.Switch on vacuum motor. (see item 2, page 7)

6.Lower scrub deck. Pull scrub deck Mt lever rearward. (see item 8. Dane 7l

Do not leave brush running on floor whlle ma-

chine is stationary.

7.Lower squeegee. Pull squeegee lift lever back. (see item 7, page 7) NOTE Adjust squeegee as shown on page 10.

8.Move machineforward by applying even pressureon the main handle. Forwardmotion is assisted by the scrubbing action of the brushlpad driver.+ ---

230V, 240V specifications

Windsor 240V and 230V are popular electrical standards used predominantly in residential and commercial settings around the world. These voltage levels are crucial, especially in regions that follow the nominal voltage convention established by the International Electrotechnical Commission.

One of the standout features of Windsor's electrical systems is its versatility. The ability to operate efficiently on both 240V and 230V makes it suitable for a wide range of appliances and machinery, from household items like refrigerators and washing machines to industrial equipment. This adaptability is particularly beneficial in regions where voltage fluctuation may occur, allowing appliances to function reliably even in less-than-ideal conditions.

In terms of technology, Windsor systems largely utilize single-phase and three-phase power supply configurations. Single-phase systems are common in residential settings, providing sufficient power for most home appliances. On the other hand, three-phase systems are often utilized in industrial applications due to their ability to deliver a larger amount of power more efficiently. They minimize losses and improve the overall performance of heavy machinery.

One of the key characteristics of Windsor 240V and 230V systems is their safety features. These systems often come equipped with ground fault protection and circuit breakers, which provide additional layers of security against electrical faults. This is especially important in environments with heavy equipment where the risk of electric shock or short circuits may be elevated.

Energy efficiency is another area where Windsor excels. Many appliances designed to run on these voltages are engineered with energy-saving technologies, such as variable speed drives and inverter technologies. These innovations not only reduce energy consumption but also extend the life of the appliances, making them a sustainable choice for consumers.

Moreover, Windsor voltage systems are compliant with international standards, ensuring their reliability and safety. They are tested rigorously to meet the specifications set forth by electrical safety organizations, which is vital for maintaining high standards in both residential and industrial applications.

In conclusion, Windsor 240V and 230V systems stand out due to their versatility, safety, and energy efficiency. They support a wide range of applications, ensuring that both everyday consumers and industrial operators can rely on electricity without compromise.
