Presser Foot Lifter
Raise the presser foot lifter to lift up the presser foot.
Presser foot lifter stops at position A.
When replacing presser foot or sewing very thick materials, presser foot lifter can be lifted up one more step to obtain wider gap.
Disengaging Upper Cutter
For ease in threading, push the upper cutter holder screw from A side with the forefinger of your left hand + and grasp the right end of the holder C, and turn it in the direction of arrow B with your
right hand.
+Since the upper cutter is sharp. care should be taken when moving this part.
