Zipper

Insertion

Pin

or baste

closed

zipper on

wrong

side

of

fabric. Position

of zipper

depends on

whether or

not you

want the

edge

of

the

fabric to overlap

the zipper.

Turn

fabric

to

right

side. Run

a

straight seam

close to

left

edge of

zipper,

stitch across

end

and

up

the other

side

in

one continuous

opera

 

 

tion. Use right edge

of foot as a guide.

For

 

other types of zipper insertion, follow direc

tions in your

zipper

packoge.
