Remove Battery Pack for Disposal

NOTE: Remove the battery pack only when the batteries no longer hold a charge and you plan to dispose of them.
CAUTION: Do not short circuit or dispose of in fire. Dispose of properly.
A municipal waste will not dispose of the battery pack. Use a recycling center if one is convenient. Otherwise, take or send the battery pack to your nearest Eureka Warranty Service Station.To learn the address of the nearest factory service center call

1.Lay cleaner down on its top.
2.Use a Phillips® screwdriver to remove the screw on battery cover, lift cover up and away from unit.
3.Remove the two foam pieces then remove battery pack and dispose of properly.
