Changing the Motor Protection Filter

The motor protection input filter (11) should be changed once or twice a year, depending on the usage of the vacuum cleaner. To remove the filter, first open the bag compartment cover (1), then take out the dust bag (17). Under it you will find the motor protection input filter (11). Remove the filter by pulling it up. (See fig. 13)

Knock the dust of the motor protection input filter (11) thoroughly or wash it if it is very dirty, making sure that it is completely dry before refitting. Never use the vacuum cleaner without the motor protection input filter.

Changing the Air Output Hepa Filter

The air output Hepa filter (8) must be replaced once or twice a year depending on usage. Open the rear air output Hepa filter cover (7) by pressing on the “Push” and tilting the cover to open. Remove the filter. Never operate the vacuum cleaner without the air output Hepa filter. Refit the filter and return the cover to position by pushing down on

the two latches. Before closing the cover, it is better to pullFig. 14 out the cord a little bit so that the plug does not obstruct the

cover from closing. (See fig. 14)

Motor Thermostat

IMPORTANT: This motor is equipped with a heat sensitive thermostat. If for some reason the vacuum cleaner will overheat, it will then stop working automatically. When the motor will cool off, the unit will restart by itself.
