Replacing the Dust Bag

Warning: To reduce the risk of electric shock, the power cord must be disconnected before changing the bag or filter, or performing maintenance/trouble shooting checks.

Suggestion: When vacuuming new carpets or carpets with fine powders on them, the powder may clog the dust bag, therefore, check the bag more often.

NEVER OPERATE WITHOUT DUST BAG IN PLACE.

When the “dust bag full” indicator (4) becomes red, the dust bag should be replaced.

Open the bag compartment cover (1) by putting your hand under the cover (1) and lifting it. (See fig. 7)

Push back the black plastic tabs (A) towards you. This will release the cardboard base of the dust bag from the hooks (B), and allow you to slide the full bag upwards. (See fig. 8)

To fit a new bag in the compartment:push the black plastic tabs (A) backwards. Slide in the empty bag. Make sure that the hooks (B) are holding the cardboard base of the dust bag. (See fig. 8)

Close the bag compartment cover (1).
