1Once connected to the mains supply check that all cooking zones are ready for use by briefly switching each on in turn at the maximum setting.

A duplicate rating label is supplied with this unit. For easy identification of this unit after installation, stick it to a readily available surface adjacent to the cook- top.

Sticking the seal in the rabbet

Clean the rabbet in the work surface.

Stick the one-sided self-adhesive seal- ing tape supplied onto the upper surface of the rabbet along the edges of the cut- out section.

Cut the sealing tape into four pieces relating to the length of the edges of the rabbet.

For the four corners of the rabbet the ends of the sealing tapes must be cut into mitres. Do not stick the ends over one another.

Stick the sealing tape flush into the corner of the rabbet, so that no silicon compound can get under the glass ceramic when grouting.

Don’t stretch the tapes when sticking them on.
