Oven Door Glass

The oven door is fitted with two glass panels mounted one behind the other. The inner panel can be removed for cleaning.

1 Caution: the following steps must be performed only with the oven door re- moved! If the glass is removed while the door is attached, the lighter weight may cause it to spring up and cause injury.

1 Important! Rough handling of the glass, especially at the edges of the front panel, may cause it to break.

Removing the glass from the door

1.Detach the door and, with the handle

downwards, place it on a soft, even surface.

2. Grasp the top glass panel underneath, and push it towards the door handle against the pressure spring, until it comes free.

3. Hold the panel gently underneath, and slide it out.

Clean the glass panel

Inserting the glass to the door

1.Insert the panel at an angle from above

into the section of the door in which the handle is located.

2. Lower the panel. Place the glass against the pressure spring at the han- dle end, and in front of the retaining frame at the bottom of the door, then push it into the frame.

The glass panel must be firmly at- tached!

Re-hang the door to the oven.
