•Het geluidssignaal weerklinkt 5 keer wanneer de koffie volledig doorgelopen is.

b. Uitschakelen

•Duw de schakelaar 0/1 naar onder (0). Het rode controle- lampje in het midden gaat uit en het apparaat valt stil.

2.Het uur regelen

• Draai de functiekeuzeknop op .

• Druk de toetsen HRES en MIN in en houd ze ingedrukt, om de cijfers met een toenemende snelheid te verhogen. Nadert u het gewenste cijfer, druk dan telkens één keer, om cijfer per cijfer te verhogen. Wanneer de cijfers niet meer knipperen, is het uur geregistreerd.

Opgelet : komt u voorbij het cijfer 12, dan verschijnen de letters “PM”, om het uur te regelen van 12 uur tot middernacht. Is er geen aanduiding, dan komt dat overeen met de uren van de ochtend, van 0 uur tot ’s middags. Vergewis u er steeds van, dat het uur geregeld is volgens de juiste periode, opdat de automatische start- en stopfuncties correct zouden werken.

3.AUTO 1, automatische start

• Draai de functiekeuzeknop op PROG. De cijfers knipperen.

•Druk op HRES en MIN, om het uur te registreren waarop u wilt dat de cyclus begint. De cijfers knipperen 5 keer en vallen dan stil.

•Draai de functiekeuzeknop op AUTO 1. Het lopende uur wordt opnieuw weergegeven.

•Breng schakelaar 0/1 naar boven, om werkwijze AUTO 1 in te schakelen. Het groene controlelampje gaat aan.

•Op het geregistreerde uur begint de bereidingscyclus en gaat het rode controlelampje in het midden branden.

•Om uit te schakelen, drukt u schakelaar 0/1 naar onder. Het groene controlelampje (en rood als de doorloopcyclus van de koffie is begonnen) gaat uit.

4.AUTO 0, automatische stilstand

•Draai de functiekeuzeknop op “AUTO 0”. De cijfers knipperen.

•Druk op HRES en MIN om de tijd te registreren waarna u wenst dat het apparaat stilvalt (van 0 tot 4 uur). De cijfers

knipperen 5 keer en vallen dan stil

5.Automatische ontkalking

Naarmate u het apparaat meer gebruikt, vormt zich kalkaanslag. Kalkaanslag is schadelijk voor fijne mechanismen en geeft aan de koffie een harde en bittere smaak. Om steeds lekkere koffie te krijgen, moet het apparaat dus regelmatig worden ontkalkt. De frequentie van het ontkalken hangt af van de hardheid van het water en de frequentie van het gebruik.

•Als de koffiemachine moet worden ontkalkt, knippert het ontkalkingscontrolelampje naast de toets CALC. tijdens het doorlopen van de koffie.

•Druk op de toets CALC. en zet het apparaat aan, door de schakelaar 0/1 naar boven te duwen. Het ontkalkings- controlelampje blijft branden. De koffiemachine staat nu in de stand “Automatische ontkalking”.

•Wanneer de cyclus beëindigd is, weerklinkt het geluids- signaal 5 keer en valt het apparaat stil.

•Eén enkele ontkalkingscyclus volstaat meestal. Om dat te controleren, zet u het apparaat aan (duw de schakelaar 0/1 naar boven). Gaat het ontkalkingscontrolelampje niet aan, dan is de machine ontkalkt. Gaat het controle- lampje wel aan, herhaal dan de ontkalkingsbewerking.

•Als het apparaat ontkalkt is, spoelt u het uit, door een volledig cyclus uit te voeren: vul het reservoir tot aan het maximumpeil met koud water (zonder koffie of filter). Zet het

apparaat in werking ( + schakelaar 0/1) en laat het water doorlopen.

Opm. : drukt u op de ontkalkingstoets, dan worden alle andere functies geannuleerd. Drukt u er per ongeluk op, druk dan een tweede keer om de ontkalking te annuleren en de vorige regelingen te herstellen.

6.Toets 1-4

Maakt het mogelijk om kleinere hoeveelheden koffie te zetten (1 tot 4 koppen) en tegelijk een optimale temperatuur te waarborgen.
