Make sure that the FM Lead Wire Antenna is fully unwound. You may have to vary the position of this antenna until you find the position that provides the best reception.

The AM ferrite rod antenna is inside the main cabinet. You may have to vary the position of the main unit slightly until you find the position that provides the best reception.
