The remote controller requires 2 “AAA” batteries, not included. Please use a well-known brand of alkaline batteries for longest life and best performance.

Remove the remote control battery compartment cover by sliding the cover in the direction of the arrow.

Insert 2 “AAA” alkaline batteries into the compartment. Be sure to observe the polarity markings inside the battery compartment. If the batteries are inserted incorrectly the remote control will not operate.

The remote control must be pointed at the remote sensor on the lower part of the front panel. The effective operating range of the remote control is approximately 15 feet. The effective operating angle is approximately 15 degrees to the left or right of ‘dead center’.

When the operation of the remote control becomes intermittent, or the operating range of the remote is reduced, replace the batteries.
