Typical flexible connection
1.Apply
2.Attach one adapter to the gas pressure regulator and the other adapter to the gas shutoff valve. Tighten both adapters.
3.Use a ¹⁵⁄₁₆" combination wrench and channel lock pliers to attach the flexible connector to the adapters. Check that connector is not kinked.

Complete Connection
1.Locate gas pressure regulator at rear of storage or warming drawer compartment.
NOTE: On models with a warming drawer, an access cover must be removed from the gas pressure regulator.

IMPORTANT: Do not remove the gas pressure regulator.
2.Check that the gas pressure regulator shutoff valve is in the “ON” position. The valve is on when the lever is parallel to the floor.

4.Test all connections by brushing on an approved noncorrosive
5.Remove cooktop burner caps and grates from parts package. Align notches in burner caps with pins in burner base. Burner caps should be level when properly positioned. If burner caps are not properly positioned, surface burners will not light.

6.Place burner grates over burners and caps as shown in the following illustration. When properly installed the grates should not overlap the console.

3.Open the manual shutoff valve in the gas supply line. The valve is open when the handle is parallel to the gas pipe.
