2.En el Panel de control de Windows XP, abra Propiedades de dispositivos de sonido y audio (Figura 5).

3.En la ficha Volumen, compruebe que Bose USB Audio es el dispositivo USB conectado.

4.En Configuración del altavoz, haga clic en el botón Propiedades avanzadas para abrir Propiedades de audio avanzadas.

5.En la lista desplegable Configuración del altavoz, seleccione Altavoces con sonido envolvente 5.1.

6.Haga clic en Aplicar y, a continuación, en Aceptar.

El sistema de altavoces multimedia Companion® 5 ya está listo para usar.

Nota: Si retira la conexión USB del sistema Companion 5 y posteriormente vuelve a insertarla, realice este procedimiento otra vez para comprobar la configuración.
