This control switches on the main oven. To select Fan

Cooking - Turn the control clockwise and select any

temperature between 100°C and Max. As the control

is turned the fan will start. The main oven light will

immediately come on.

The thermostat light indicates that the main oven is

heating. When it turns off, the temperature inside the

oven has reached the setting made with the thermostat

knob. At this point, the light will turn on and off as the

oven maintains the temperature at a constant level.

The fan and the oven interior light will remain on

throughout cooking. The main oven thermostat light

will come on until the oven reaches therequired

temperature. It will then cycle off and on as the oven

thermostat maintains the correct temperature.

The heat for fan cooking in the main oven is provided by

an element situated at the back of the oven, around the

fan.

Fan cooking is ideal for large poultry or joints of meat,

reducing cooking times and often eliminating the

need for pre-heating the oven. It is also ideal for batch

cooking where food is cooked on more than one level,

because the forced circulation of hot air gives an even

temperature from the top to the bottom of the oven.

To use the oven proceed as follows:

The shelves should be evenly spaced. To avoid

unnecessary cleaning, shelves which are not in use

should be removed from the oven.

Set the main oven control to the required

temperature. Pre-heating is not normally necessary,

but some foods such as bread, scones and

Yorkshire pudding do benefit from being placed in

a hot oven (see cooking charts).

Place the food to be cooked in the centre of each

shelf to allow for even air circulation around the

food.

HUE52G specifications

The Hotpoint HUE52G is a versatile and stylish freestanding gas cooker that combines functionality with modern aesthetics, making it an excellent addition to any kitchen. This appliance is designed to meet the demands of everyday cooking while ensuring efficiency and ease of use.

One of the standout features of the Hotpoint HUE52G is its dual fuel cooking capability. This means it combines a gas hob with an electric oven, providing the user with the best of both worlds. The precision of gas cooking ensures instant heat control, ideal for frying, boiling, or sautéing, while the electric oven offers more even heat distribution for baking and roasting.

The cooker comes equipped with four gas burners, each designed to provide varying heat levels, accommodating a range of cooking styles. The burners feature an enamel finish that not only enhances durability but also makes cleaning a breeze. Additionally, the automatic ignition system allows for swift and safe lighting of the burners, ensuring you can get started with your cooking without any hassle.

The oven space in the Hotpoint HUE52G is generous, allowing for ample cooking space. It offers multiple functions, including conventional cooking, grilling, and fan-assisted cooking. The fan oven feature is particularly advantageous, as it circulates heat evenly throughout the oven cavern, enabling users to cook different dishes simultaneously without the transfer of flavors.

The HUE52G also prioritizes safety, featuring a flame failure device on the hob burners. This technology automatically shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out, providing peace of mind during cooking.

Moreover, the cooker boasts a sleek and stylish design, available in a classic white finish that complements any kitchen décor. Its easy-to-use control knobs are conveniently positioned, promoting easy access while cooking.

With energy efficiency in mind, the Hotpoint HUE52G is designed to minimize energy consumption, which not only benefits the environment but also helps save on utility bills.

In summary, the Hotpoint HUE52G offers an impressive array of features, including a dual fuel system, efficient burners, versatile oven functions, and enhanced safety measures, making it an ideal choice for home cooks who want reliability and ease of use in their kitchen appliances.
