Various types of playback and recording can be performed through relay operation between the set’s CD and CD-R units.

There are three relay modes.

The set mode is stored in the memory, but the data may be cleared if the power is not turned on for 2 or 3 days.

The mode switches as shown below each time the RELAY MODE button is pressed.

• Play the disc to check the volume.

Set the audio timer for the desired time.

6• The power of the components connected to the audio timer turns off.

When the set time is reached, the power of the various components turns on automatically and playback begins from track one.

The settings for the program mode, random mode, relay mode, etc., are stored in the memory before the power is turned off.

If there is no disc in the CD side and a disc is loaded in the CD-R side:

Timer playback does not function when the relay mode is set to normal or dual.

Timer playback functions for the CD-R side when the relay mode is set to relay or mix.

NOTE:

Recording, finalizing and editing are not possible in the relay or mix mode.
