Precaliente la Wafflera. Ponga en un recipiente grande la mantequuilla y el azúcar. Bata a velocidad media baja hasta acremar. Añada la vainilla y la sal. Aumente la velocidad a media. Añada los huevos. Mezcle hasta que la masa esté tersa.

Reduzca la velocidad a baja y añada la harina. Mezcle bien. Divida 3/4 de taza

de la masa en cuatro porciones; vacíe cada una de éstas en una esquina de los platos. Cierre la Wafflera. Cueza hasta que ya no salga vapor, de 3 a 5 minutos. Saque con mucho cuidado los waffles, usando tenazas no metálicas y peongalas en una rejilla

de alambre. Déjelos enfriar. Sírvalos así, o acompañados de su relleno de fruta favorita y crema batida.

Recaliente la Wafflera. En un recipiente grande, ponga todos los ingredientes, excepto la clara de huevo. Mezcle a velocidad baja hasta que todo incorpore.

Aumente la velocidad a media, mezcle hasta que le masa esté tersa. Incorpore a mano pococ a poco la clara de huevo batida. Vacíe sobre las rejillas 1/2 taza de la masa. Cierre la Wafflera; cueza hasta que no salga vapor, de 3 a 5 minutos. Reppita la operación. Sirva los waffles calientes con jarabe o con Fresas a la Romanoff
