In order to ensure that your new XM Radio operates properly you must install these attached "ferrites" to

both the XM Satellite Radio antenna lead and the cigarette lighter adaptor lead as illustrated below. Doing so is an important part of the installation which is required to make sure that your XM Radio will not interfere with other radios.
