Fig. 4 Brewer Operation Diagram

IMPORTANT:

Tank must be full of water before connecting brewer to electrical power.

Heating elements will be damaged if allowed to operate without being fully submerged in water. Damage caused by operating the brewer without water in the tank is NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY.

A.START-UP

For initial start-up, or if the brewer has not been used for an extended period of time:

Be sure spray disk and brew gasket are properly installed in the brew head.

Be sure the water supply is properly connected and the water supply valve is turned ON.

Be sure the WATER TANK IS FILLED

BEFORE plugging the brewer into a receptacle, or otherwise connecting brewer to electrical power THE WATER TANKS MUST BE FILLED. Place an empty decanter under each brew head. Lift the pour-over cover then pour tap water into each pour-over opening until water flows from the brew heads. This will require the equivalent of three full 64oz. Decanters per side. When water stops dripping from the brew head, empty the container.

Once the tanks are full of water, connect the brewer to electrical power. For Models 1091 & 1093, press power switch to ON. The heating elements will begin heating the water in the tank. When the water has reached the proper temperature, the “READY TO BREW” LED will glow.
