USING THE DETERGENT

CAUTION!
Use only detergents for dish- washers.
1.Press the release button (B) to open the lid (C).
2.Put the detergent in the compart- ment (A) .
3.If the programme has a prewash phase, put a small quantity of de- tergent on the inner part of the ap- pliance door.
4.If you use detergent tablets, put the tablet in the compartment (A).
5. Close the lid. Make sure that the release button locks into position.

| Detergent tablets do not fully |
| dissolve with short programmes |
| and detergent residues can stay |
| on the dishes. |

SETTING AND STARTING A | 1. Open the water tap. |
PROGRAMME | 2. Press the on/off button to activate |
| the appliance. |
Setting mode
The appliance must be in setting mode to accept some operations.
The appliance is in setting mode when, after the activation:
•All the programme indicators come on.
•The display shows two horizontal sta- tus bars.
If the control panel shows other condi- tions, press and hold Delay and Start at the same time until the appliance is in setting mode.
3.Close the appliance door.
4.Make sure that the appliance is in setting mode.
5.Press Program again and again un- til the indicator of the programme that you want to set comes on.
•The programme duration flashes in the display.
•The phase indicators of the set programme come on.
6.If you want, you can set the options.
7.Press Start. The programme starts.
•Only the indicator of the phase in operation stays on.
