Defrosting foods | Jet defrost |
➢Before defrosting, make sure you have removed any metal
➢Open containers before they are placed in the microwave oven.
➢Always pierce plastic pouches or packages. Always shake gentle to ensure even defrosting.
➢If food is wrapped in foil, remove it and place the food in a suitable container.
➢Pierce the skins of frozen foods such as sausages.
➢The length of defrosting time depends on how solid the food is, if the food is still icy in the center, return it to the microwave oven for more defrosting.
➢As food starts to defrost, separate or remove the pieces, it will defrost more easily.
➢Turn food over for even defrosting.
➢For best results, let the food stand after defrosting.
