2.Remove and discard oil seal for bearing to be repaired.

NOTE: Before removing oil seal(s) note and record the depth of the oil seal from mounting surface so that the new seal is installed to the same depth.

3.Insert bushing driver tool (A, Figure 9) into bearing from oil seal side. Place a reference mark (B) on driver to indicate proper depth when installing the new bearing.

4.Place cylinder support tool (C, Figure 10) under cylinder or cover/sump bearing (B). Press driver until bearing is extracted.
