C. Setup

CAUTION

It is especially important that the ice bin is leveled in both left-to-right and front- to-rear directions. If it is not level, the result could be the production of smaller or irregular shaped cubes or of overflow into the ice bin. See the "LOCATION" instructions on the icemaker.

1.Unpacking the Ice Bin and Attaching the Snout Assembly

1)Unpack the ice bin, and remove all shipping cartons, tape(s) and packing. Remove the two bolts holding the ice bin to the pallet. Attach four (4) adjustable legs [adjustable within max. 6-13/32" (188 mm) to min. 6" (152 mm)] to the bottom of the ice bin. Be careful not to damage the panels when installing the ice bin.

2)Position the ice bin in a selected permanent site.

3)Remove the snout assembly from the box.

4)Remove any packing from the snout assembly.

5)Apply the gasket (included) to the perimeter of the snout assembly where it mates with the ice bin.

6)Position the snout assembly onto the bin by first placing the bottom of the assembly into the lower hole on the bin's front panel and then rotating the top towards the bin.

7)Install the four screws (included) along the top of the snout assembly.

8)Clean and wipe the interior of the bin and snout assembly with a clean cloth.

B-1300SS, B-1150SS, B-1500SS, B-1650SS specifications

Hoshizaki is a well-known brand in the commercial refrigeration industry, and their line of ice makers, including the B-1650SS, B-1300SS, B-1150SS, and B-1500SS models, showcases outstanding performance, reliability, and advanced technology. Each model is designed to cater to different ice production needs, ensuring that businesses can find the right fit for their requirements.

The Hoshizaki B-1650SS is a high-capacity storage bin that can accommodate large amounts of ice, making it perfect for high-demand environments like busy restaurants and bars. With a storage capability of up to 1,650 pounds, it is equipped with a durable stainless steel exterior that enhances its longevity and resistance to corrosion. Its ergonomic design features, such as the easy-to-use access lid, facilitate quick and convenient ice retrieval, ensuring a seamless workflow even during peak hours.

Next, the B-1300SS model offers slightly less capacity with a maximum storage of 1,300 pounds. This model is popular among mid-sized operations that require a steady supply of ice but don’t need the extreme capacity of the B-1650SS. The B-1300SS also boasts superior insulation technology that helps maintain ice quality while minimizing melt, resulting in reduced waste and lower operational costs.

For businesses with smaller ice volume requirements, the Hoshizaki B-1150SS provides an excellent alternative. With a storage capability of 1,150 pounds, this model still retains the same high-quality stainless steel construction and user-friendly design expected from Hoshizaki. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for tight spaces without compromising on performance.

Finally, the B-1500SS model strikes a balance between capacity and usability, storing up to 1,500 pounds of ice. It features advanced technologies like an energy-efficient design that reduces energy consumption while maintaining optimal ice production. This model is equipped with innovative ice sensing technology, which ensures that the ice production process is efficient and meets the specific demands of the operation.

All four models are designed with easy maintenance in mind, featuring removable baffle systems and cleaning mechanisms that keep the ice clean and safe for consumption. Additionally, they incorporate Hoshizaki's renowned reliability, ensuring that businesses can depend on a consistent ice supply, which is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction.

In essence, Hoshizaki's B-1650SS, B-1300SS, B-1150SS, and B-1500SS ice storage bins cater to a range of operational needs while upholding the brand's commitment to quality, efficiency, and innovation in the refrigeration industry.
