Cleaning and Care

Stainless steel colored controls

These controls may become dis- colored or damaged if not cleaned regularly.

Do not use a stainless steel cleaner on these controls.

Baffle filtration

The stainless steel baffle filtration in the hood remove solid particles from the vented kitchen air (grease, dust, etc) and prevent soiling of the ventilation system.

The baffle filters should be cleaned every 3 - 4 weeks.

￿A dirty filter is a fire hazard!

￿Push the baffle filter slightly upwards ￿, pull the lower side out ￿, and remove the filter.

Support the baffle filter so that it does not fall and damage the cooktop.

The OdorFree charcoal filters mounted in back of the baffle filters should be removed before cleaning (see "OdorFree charcoal filters").
